Do you ever have sign language interpreters at your shows? Specifically I’m wondering about Rent?
We used to have all of our shows interpreted for the deaf a while back, but we do not currently have anyone performing this task Diane.
I saw the show yesterday for my birthday and loved it! I loved it so much I bought a Rent shirt at your store and I’m coming to see it again with all my theatre friends!
saw RENT on 1.29 — GREAT SHOW but then they always are!!!!
I have a few free tickets to the Shadowbox. May I use them for Rent? I was never able to see it on Broadway & I’d LOVE to get the chance to see it on stage, *especially* if y’all are doin it!
As long as the free tickets don’t reference a specific show, you absolutely can!

Wondering about serving food during a show. Isn’t that distracting? Or are there certain times that orders are taken and served so as not to interrupt the show? Advice on when to arrive so as to enjoy lunch before the 2:30 show?
Thanks!
Food is served during pre-show and intermission, so as not to distract from the show itself. Doors open 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to show time, and we recommend early arrival as our seating is first-come first-served
Do you have any age restrictions for the performances (I have some 14 yr old girls, who are already familiar with the show)? Do they have to have an adult accompany them, or can they go on their own?
We have a “suggested” R-rating, but we do not have an age requirement for our shows.
I noticed the dates aren’t listed on your calendar. Do you know the exact dates and times Rent is playing in Columbus?
Is Rent performed at the Shadowbox at Easton or somewhere else? Also, is this show accepting OSU vouchers? If so, must you bring your BuckID along also or just the ticket?
Hey Melissa! We will indeed be accepting OSU vouchers for Rent, and yes you are required to bring your BuckID to confirm your enrollment. Additionally, the show times and dates are now up on the calendar. There were several discrepancies about our schedule that needed to be sorted out. Sorry for the inconvenience!
