The Shadowbox Live® building is a 130 year old building housing a restaurant/bar, a full-time theatre operation and associated services, a large kitchen, administrative offices and rehearsal spaces.
Candidates will assist the Facility Manager with routine maintenance tasks, periodic service or repairs, and facility improvement projects. Construction or repair of theatrical sets or props will also occur periodically.
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- HVAC or refrigeration
- Computer network and telephone wiring
- Audio, video and lighting systems
- Furniture repair and moving
Candidates must be able to handle physical labor, lift at least 60 pounds, safely use ladders or scaffolding, work independently at times and have experience with use of hand and power tools. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
